I’ve known Trev only from work but he’s every bit the person everyone described at the service. My favourite memory was a few years ago in his old office we were just talking about various topics and nuclear energy popped up. He said the power came from the nuclear rods but wasn’t sure how. I had just been back from the Pickering Ontario Nuclear Plant and mentioned that the rods aren’t directly producing the electricity the rods boiled the water in the reactor to create steam which was then directed to turbines to spin them and thus creating electricity the steam is all the exhaust you see going up into the atmosphere. He was smiling and laughing saying he didn’t know that! Now, I think he was aware he just wanted me to feel better about contributing to the conversation. We laughed each and every time I came around and am certain his time with us will endure. My sincere condolences from this stranger who called him friend. Attached is a recent pic of the old office he occupied for decades and is now our Lands Office. It’s said that no one is forgotten as long as someone has memories of the person and that’s true for me each day I gaze out that window I will remember him. The new PBGOC office which bears his name was an easy decision for us to make an we’re glad to hear he was proud of the building. He will be missed! Ted Merasty

Trevor was one of our dearest friends. He filled a room with joy and laughter. He was always up for a great practical joke; not only on himself but he loved to dish out the tricks as well. We will always remember him with love in our hearts and a smile on our face. He was a friend who shared in our joy, as if it was his own. We will miss him so much. Our hearts are with you, Shauna, and with Kyra,, Lyndon and Sean.
Love,
Shannon and Mark

I am shocked to learn of Trevor's passing as I have always had the deepest regard for him both as a friend as well as an associate. We worked together on a number of projects and proposals during our time, as well as numerous discussions on the topic of economic and business development to support growth for First Nation people. I want to pass on my condolences and deepest sympathy to his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and worked with him. May he rest in peace and God Bless.

My memory of Trevor portrays what a caring and compassionate person he was and how he positively impacted anyone he came in contact with. I never met Trevor in person but when I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a friend kindly gave me his contact. He was most receptive to helping me in any way he could and was a huge mentor to me in my MM journey. Many MM patients in Saskatoon are most grateful to him for his work for Myeloma. He represented Western Canada on the board of Myeloma Canada and was instrumental in having March designated as Multiple Myeloma Month in Sask.
I am most grateful to have had him advocating for me and other patients in Sask. He was an exceptional person.
