It’s hard to believe that Violet is no longer with us - she has been a forever neighbor and friend to our family. She truly was a great person who always had time to visit and always made one feel so welcome.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family – know that you were all so loved and that she and Allen were both so proud of you. The last time Mom and I stopped at the farm, they brought the pictures out and updated us on what everyone was doing. When I stopped to see them in PA, their grandson had just gotten married at the farm – what a proud time that was for them.
Gone but not forgotten – ever remembered and ever loved

We are so sorry and surprised to hear about Violet passing. She and Allen were wonderful neighbors and we always enjoyed stopping in for coffee or another beverage. We always felt welcome when we would stop. Violet was very proud of her boys and her grandchildren and would keep us up to date on the goings-on of the grandkids. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

We were so very sorry to hear of Violet's passing. What a wonderful woman. We spent many hours visiting with her and Allan. You never left their home on the farm without learning a new card game. So many hours making and losing money! You were always welcomed to stay for supper. This was where I had my first taste of "wild" meat although you never knew if it was deer, moose, elk, or beef because Violet was such a great cook. What a loss for the entire family. Allan, Darrel, Garth and all the rest, we know you will miss her so much. I had a really nice conversation with her this last December when she phoned to get a recipe for Swedish spice cookies. We'll be thinking of you all at this time.
